Test Weights & Cradles

Utilizing our stock of 500 tonnes of metal test weights together with cradles in various capacities up to 300 tonnes we can support a wide range of load tests that require the use of live loads. Our test weight cradles are designed and manufactured in house and are quite different to the rusting weight trays that were historically used.

The latest additions to our test weight cradle hire fleet are a 200 tonnes SWL cradle with the option of either a single central lift or a 4 point corner lift and a low profile 50 tonnes SWL cradle particularly suited to marine A frame load tests.

We also have vast experience in the planning and execution of load tests utilising water load bags from our own hire fleet. Whilst individual bag capacities range from 375 kg to 100 tonnes we regularly combine and configure these to achieve heavier test loads.
