Lift-rite Engineering Services Carries Out Latest Job Testing On Emergency Release Coupler
Lift-rite Engineering Services has just completed the testing of an emergency release coupler project for the Oil and Gas sector. Lift-rite’s experienced Engineering Team utilised modern data logging equipment to record loads, pressures and temperatures during the tests that were designed to verify the products integrity and performance.
The three main elements of the test were as follows:
- Actuation of the main valves
- Hydrostatic pressure test of the whole assembly
- Operation of the emergency release function, whilst the assembly was subjected to internal pressure and tensile forces.
