Flags installed at St James’ Park for the rugby world cup

Lift-rite engineering services have installed the flags at St James’ Park ahead of the first rugby world cup match to be held the stadium.

St James’ Park with a capacity of 52,409 hosted its first match in 1880. St James’ Park is the oldest football stadium in the North East of England.

The first 2015 rugby world cup match hosted at St James’ Park was South Africa Vs Scotland on Saturday 3rd October.

Lift-rite manufactured the flag frames and carried out the installation with our experienced rigging team.

Graeme Robson said ‘Lift-Rite experience and expertise allows us to not only install the flag frames which is a technically challenging operation but also manufacture the frames in-house.’
